Alumni Ambassadors
With the inaugural class selected in spring 2018, the Alumni Ambassadors are a group of students who dedicate their time for the benefit of the University of Kentucky. These students represent various academic and cultural backgrounds as well as multiple areas of campus involvement.
This diverse group of students possess strong leadership, public speaking and interpersonal skills and often serve as the student voice of the University to a variety of external and internal constituents. A joint program with the UK Alumni Association and the Office of the President, our ambassadors assist with events on campus and around the country.
These students give much of their time to the University. In an effort to allow all qualified students the opportunity to serve without concern for cost, donors established the UK Alumni Ambassador Fund. Contributions to this fund will not only provide financial support to help pay for travel expenses and uniforms for the selected students but also scholarships for tuition or professional development conferences.
Your gift to this fund will enable us to establish an endowment which will support this program in perpetuity.
