The Office for Institutional Diversity is responsible for upholding the University of Kentucky's commitment to inclusive excellence. Institutional Diversity strives to offer a welcoming and nurturing environment where all students, faculty and staff can realize their full potential. To assist in sustaining this commitment, our five units: Center for Academic Enrichment Services, Center for Graduate and Professional Diversity Initiatives, Office of LGBTQ* Resources, Martin Luther King Center, and Student Support Services offer programs and services that support the strategic mission of the University of Kentucky.
The VPID Diversity Development Fund supports programs and initiatives that foster inclusive excellence on our campus. The fund is used to strengthen academic support, performance and retention of underrepresented students, as well as, provide cultural diversity experiences for the challenges of an increasingly complex, multicultural, global community.
