The University of Kentucky International Center (UKIC) is the catalyst for diverse internationalization efforts at UK. Located in Bradley Hall, UKIC serves as a resource center for the University's vital international linkages by supporting the development of agreements and partnerships with universities across the world; promoting the involvement of UK faculty, staff, and students in international research, development projects, and related activities; and facilitating access to international funding opportunities.
The UKIC also houses Education Abroad, which provides opportunities for more UK students than ever to learn abroad. The UKIC's International Student and Scholars Services (ISSS) assists students and visiting researchers from other countries as they join UK's community. UKIC staff work in close partnership with Enrollment Management, the Center for English as a Second Language and the Graduate School to recruit international students. In addition, the UKIC is home to the Office of China Initiatives focusing on Chinese students' success and developing partnerships with China, and the Global Health Initiative that includes UK's health service program in Ecuador, Shoulder to Shoulder Global.
Your generosity can make a huge impact on our internationalization efforts at UK. Gifts to the International Education Fund will support UK-wide internationalization initiatives such as annual speaking forums bringing internationally-recognized speakers to campus, International Education Week activities, and other programs which support UK students' success as global citizens.
Support the International Education Fund on One day for UK. Your support will enable us to expand scholarship and funding opportunities for both UK international students and U.S. students. We are grateful for your support!
