One Day for UK 2020

As the world continues to battle with the Covid-19 pandemic, we, here at the University of Kentucky, continue to do our best to provide our student-athletes will all the tools imaginable for them to succeed and grow as athletes, students, and people. As the 2020-21 athletic year quickly approaches, we look forward to watching our student-athletes safely return to activity and compete on their fields of play. Even through these unprecedented times, UK Athletics’ number one priority still remains the same, taking care of our student-athletes, ensuring their education and well-being, and providing opportunities for the future. We continue to fund the scholarships for about 500 student-athletes, including paying for their room and board, tuition, and cost of attendance regardless if they are able to compete this year or not. This is where YOU, the Big Blue Nation, can help us sustain and support the future for our student-athletes and athletics programs.

The Ev’ry Wildcat Fund helps support each of our student-athletes for the entire 2020-21 academic year, which includes tuition, room and board, books, full cost of attendance, equipment, academic and student-athlete development services, travel, athlete performance and nutrition, and game day expenses. Within our beloved UK fight song, there is a line that says, “Hold that ball and hit that line, ev’ry Wildcat star will shine." Now, it’s your time to shine. We need your help so that we can continue to provide opportunities for our student-athletes, for our athletic department employees, and for our entire Commonwealth community. With your previous support, our teams have excelled both on and off the court. Four straight bowl games, multiple Final Fours in men’s basketball, a rifle national championship, multiple conference championships throughout our 22 sports, several national performance and academic awards, and even more conference performance and academic awards have come about because YOU help us, day in and day out. We share these victories and department-wide success with you and look forward to many more to come. Go Cats!
