One Day for UK 2020 has ended! You can still support the University of Kentucky by clicking here!
College of Education

There’s one thing the nearly 2,500 students in the College of Education have in common. They want to become the next difference maker and help others.

Each year we lose promising teachers due to unmet financial need. An internal UK study determined that students who have $5,000 or more per year of unmet need are less likely to return the following academic year – regardless of their academic performance. Scholarships give students the resources they need to pursue a quality education, discover and nurture their passions, and realize their potential for a meaningful and successful career not only in the classroom, but in our communities, businesses, health care settings, and beyond.

You can become the next difference maker in their academic journey. Your gift to the College of Education General Scholarship Fund makes a quality college education accessible and affordable for students who could not attend or would incur serious debt without your help. And, your gift to One Day for UK will be matched by Dean Julian Vasquez Heilig up to $25,000 for student scholarships! Give the gift of opportunity by becoming the next supporter of education scholarships.
