The University of Kentucky International Center (UKIC) is the hub for all things international at UK. Located in Bradley Hall, UKIC serves as a resource center for the University's vital international linkages, promoting the involvement of UK faculty, staff, and students in education abroad, international research, development projects, and other global activities.
Our Office of Education Abroad & Exchanges provides the support and resources for UK students to engage in study, intern, research, teach and service abroad experiences. Education Abroad opportunities allow our students to develop cultural awareness, intercultural communications skills, independence, build networks and enhance their education by learning about their major through diverse perspectives – all competencies that employers seek in today’s global workforce.
Our International Student and Scholars Services (ISSS) team supports students and visiting researchers from other countries as they join UK's community. ISSS’s work also reaches U.S. students as the team creates opportunities for U.S. and international students to learn from one another, develop friendships and a strong sense of belonging to UK’s diverse community.
Your generosity can make a huge impact on our internationalization efforts at UK. Gifts to the International Education Fund will support UK-wide internationalization initiatives such as Education Abroad scholarships, annual speaking forums bringing internationally-recognized speakers to campus, International Education Week activities, and other programs which support UK students' success and development as global citizens.
Support the International Education Fund on One day for UK. Your support will enable us to expand scholarship and funding opportunities for both UK international students and U.S. students. We are grateful for your support!
