The Arboretum, State Botanical Garden of Kentucky

For more than twenty years, The Arboretum, located in the heart of Lexington, has stood as the State Botanical Garden of Kentucky. Beyond welcoming more than 200,000 visitors annually, The Arboretum is committed to our mission of conservation, education and research. Our plant collections feature native species from all seven physiographic regions of the Commonwealth and cultivated varieties, our gardens provide educational opportunities for everyone from curious children to longtime home gardeners, and our ties to the University of Kentucky have made us a longtime learning resource for students and faculty.

By giving to the Arboretum Development Fund you provide essential, flexible dollars to fund educational programming, conserve Kentucky’s native ecosystems, showcase floral displays and provide a safe space for our local community. Thank you for helping us grow.
